The foundation will
establish and operate an education center providing civil war
era research resources, courses, and programs to individuals
and groups. An Internet website will be created enabling
documents to be available to the general public online as well
as onsite. Programs and lectures will be offered at the
center. The foundation, in association with the Heritage
Education and Management Institute, will offer civil war and
colonial America era CEU credit courses.
This unique organization
provides educational opportunities to adults. Courses are
designed using text documentation and are conducted by a
mentor who possesses an excellent knowledge of the course
subject matter. Anyone wanting to increase their knowledge
of the colonial America and/or civil war eras will be
interested in these courses. They are of particular interest
to the reenactor, living historian, or heritage manager.
Individuals learn about the events and/or social and
economic influences affecting life during these critical
years in American history.
